This headset by MIT could read the words from your mind

Voice assistants have gotten better but still we hesitate to use it in public because asking it to read your recent message and replying with your voice to it is giving right to people around you to peak into your privacy.

But you don’t have to worry about that anymore because this new headset called AlterEgo created by engineerings at MIT can read words right from your mind.

“Our idea was: Could we have a computing platform that’s more internal, that melds human and machine in some ways and that feels like an internal extension of our own cognition?”- Arnav Kapur(Creator of AlterEgo)

See the video showcasing the headset below

It’s a jaw/ear mounted device and you might not like wearing it in public because of its design but technology is in early stage and will improve.
