Looking for a nice mid range smartphone, but confused? Then you have landed in the perfect place. These are the best mid-range smartphones on the market as of June 2018. But before we begin, it all depends on what you call mid-range. Budget, for everyone is different. In this list, we have picked up smartphones from the range of 25k INR to 36k INR. Also, we have made this list according to the Indian prices of the phones and the value they provide at that particular price. So without further ado, let’s begin…
- Vivo X21
Honestly speaking, Vivo X21 is on this list only because of the in-display fingerprint scanner. Yup, you guys read that correct, this is the first smartphone in the world to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, the phone costs a whopping 36000 INR and we still believe that it is not worth it but you gotta give Vivo credit for trying something new and bringing it out in the tech world first.
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE Processor
- 6 GB RAM | 128 GB ROM | Expandable Upto 256 GB
- 6.28 inch FHD+ Display

- 3200 mAh Li-ion Battery
- In-Display Fingerprint Scanner
You can buy it on Flipkart and it is priced at 35990INR.
- Honor 10
On the fourth spot comes in the Honor flagship. The phone comes in with a very premium and glossy look. Honor put up a lot of work on the design of this phone. It is similar to Huawei’s flagship P20 in some areas since Huawei being the parent company of Honor and it does a pretty good job at the cost. You can go for it if you like what Honor does, you know, with their very own processors and skins. And yes it also comes with a front-facing fingerprint sensor, if that is a thing for you.
- 6 GB RAM | 128 GB ROM |
- 5.84 inch Full HD+ Display

- Huawei Kirin 970 Processor
It is available on Flipkart and is priced at 32999INR.
- Nokia 7 plus
The Nokia 7 plus comes in at 3rd spot, particularly because we like its build quality and feel. The phone itself is quite sturdy and feels very premium to the hand. That is because it comes with a Series 6000 aluminum unibody design. The phone is the least priced phone on our list and totally worth it. Plus we all do trust Nokia a lot, don’t we?
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor
- 4GB RAM | 64GB ROM
- 6-inch FHD+ LCD IPS display
- 12MP + 13MP Dual Rear camera setup

The cameras on the phone come with zeiss optics technology.
You can buy it from Nokia and it is priced at 25999INR.
- Mi Mix 2
The 2nd spot on our list is bagged by the Mi Mix 2. It is the successor to the Mi Mix which was the first phone to come with bezel-less display (well technically not completely bezel-less but with a great screen to body ratio). Speaking frankly, if the camera is your top priority you probably should look out other phones on the list, but if not then you can certainly go for Mi Mix 2. The phone looks mesmerizing on the front. Simply beautiful.
- 6 GB RAM | 128 GB ROM |
- 5.99 inch Full HD+ Display

- OnePlus 6
The ultimate smartphone on our list is the OnePlus 6. There is hardly any stuff that the phone does not provide. This is the almost perfect flagship grade smartphone from OnePlus. The phone just provides so much at this particular price. It competes with the ultimate flagships from Samsung and Google and Apple but at a very low price from their phones. That is the reason it is one of the best phones. You definitely should go for it if you simply need the best phone in the mid-range market currently.
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa core processor
- 6 GB RAM, 64 GB internal memory
- (6.28-inch) FHD+ Full Optic AMOLED 19:9 display

Also, the recently launched Mi8 is a quite strong competitor to the OnePlus 6. But it is still not quite released in India and many other regions so we have not included it on the list. We can also recommend you to wait till the phone is released if you can afford to wait and then compare and decide for yourself. Hope that it will launch soon, probably in the next month or so. You can read about the Mi8 here.
The OnePlus 5t (Still going pretty strong. Also highly recommended).
The Honor view 10 (A pretty decent phone).
The Nokia 8 (If you simply love Nokia).
The Moto Z2 force (meh..A decent phone but not quite trendy and also feels overpriced).
Let us know what you guys think of it.
