Yep, you guys read that correct. Asus has made a motherboard that can support up to 20 GPUs. It is the Asus H370 Mining Master. It is specially designed for cryptocurrency mining.

Asus said that “The new H370 Mining Master increases density with support for up to 20 graphics cards, simplifies connectivity by letting USB riser cables plug directly into the PCB, and reduces downtime by making problems easier to diagnose. You can see it running at full capacity in a custom mining rig unveiled at Computex 2018 in Taipei, Taiwan.”

The streamlined connectivity allows the user to plug the USB riser cables directly into the PCB over PCIe. This can make maintenance quite easier which can ensure fewer disconnects. More number of GPUs allow you to run your mining at full tilt creating more crypto and the CPU, motherboard, are used to support them. More GPUs means more efficiency and 20 is certainly good (good…really?? ….It is awesome..).

The H370 Mining Master includes a suite of diagnostic features which help to troubleshoot easily. The main feature is the GPU state detection which will scan the system at boot and indicate if the riser port is empty, connected or problematic. This means less time maintaining the machine which means ..well…more time for mining. The PCIe lanes of the motherboard are set to run at Gen1 speeds resulting in improved compatibility and stability with the USB riser cards.

Other Specs of the Mining Master Motherboard are
