Today, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 Smartphone in China. It is turned out to be the first product under the Redmi brand called the Redmi Note 7. Last week CEO Lei Jun announced that Redmi will now operate as an independent brand focusing on cost efficiency, leaving Xiaomi to concentrate on mid and high-end phones.
The phone comes with teardrop notch design. It has a 6.3-inch full HD+ display, rear facing Dual camera, one of which is 48-megapixel with an f/1.8 lens, the other is 5 megapixels used for depth sensing. The phone comes with Snapdragon 660 processor, a 13-megapixel selfie camera, 4000mAh battery, USB-C charging, and a headphone jack.
Now coming to the price, Redmi note 7 has been priced at 999 Yuan (Rs 10000) for the 3GB + 32GB variant and 1199 yuan for the 4GB+64GB variant. As of now the device is only available in China but should make its way to India and Xiaomi’s other usual regions soon.
