A lot of data breaches happened this year, first Facebook, then Amazon and now Google. Data breach is one of the reasons that cost Google to shut down the Google+. Software glitch found within Google+ potentially gave third-party developers access to hundreds of thousands of user’s private data. According to wall street journal, this vulnerability was live between 2015 and March 2018. Google found out about this glitch couple of months back but failed to close. Because of this, Google announced that it would be good to just shut down Google+. Google states that it wasn’t able to maintain a successful Google+ product that meets users expectations. Google+ platform will go down over the next couple of weeks.
