FCC approves SpaceX plan to deploy 4,425 tiny Internet satellites

So far, SpaceX has launched two demo satellites. And it looks promising. In a statement released Thursday, the FCC said it was the first approval of “a U.S.-licensed satellite constellation to provide broadband services using a new generation of low-Earth orbit satellite technologies.”

SpaceX is not the first in satellite Internet game, there are satellites which provides Internet but they orbit about 22,000 miles above the earth in the high earth orbit due to the size of the satellites which cause slow and laggy Internet. SpaceX will solve this problem by deploying tiny satellites which can orbit close to earth about 1000 miles.

This service will be beneficial in developing and remote areas where developing infrastructure for Internet service in costly that just releasing some satellites in the space.
