Reinforcement learning (RL) is an area of machine learning concerned with how software agents ought to take actions in an environment.
RL used to train robots in Automation, Al games using the simulation of AI agent. There are not many resources available but not for so long. Today, Facebook released Horizon, Facebook’s open source Applied reinforcement Learning platform. Facebook believes Horizon is the first “open-source end-to-end platform that uses applied reinforcement learning (RL) to optimize systems in large-scale production environments.
Social media giant Facebook use Horizon in many applications like tracking user behavior and showing relevant advertise to its customers. Virtual Assistance that appears in messenger, optimize streaming video quality and more. By taking Horizon open source, Facebook is hoping to see reinforcement learning applied in new ways. Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that “Bring me horizon!”
