E3 is an annual conference held for game and console developers to showcase and announce their work. This year wasn’t any different, lots of great games were announced and still more to come because E3 isn’t over yet. Bethesda at E3 had some of the most exciting announcements.
Bethesda (game studio) created a very popular game franchise Fallout, now there is one more addition to it “Fallout 76”.
Fallout 76 is an online-only game where you explore and survive in a post-apocalyptic period. Players will form a squad with their friends or other fellow players and will together try surviving the wasteland. You and your team will be able to fight monsters, gather resources to survive. And you will also fight against enemy teams. The game will be available in November.
Along with the announcement of Fallout 76, Bethesda also announced that “Fallout Shelter”, the popular game which is available on smartphones will also make its way to console this year.
Doom Eternal is a sequel to the game they announced in 2016. The gameplay of this will be showcased later this year.
The Elder Scrolls VI is a fantasy RPG. It is Bethesda’s follow up to its very own Skyrim. The game is still in production and will not be out anytime soon.
RAGE 2 is an open world first-person shooter. Like Fallout, this is also set in post apocalyptic era. Above is the 7 minute gameplay and damn it looks insane. Rage 2 will be available next year in spring.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a spinoff to popular Wolfenstein. You’ll be playing as twin girls who are fighting against Nazis set in 1980 Paris. This game will also be available next year.
Starfield is a sci-fi epic. This game was in rumors for a long time and now finally we get an official announcement. Bethesda didn’t reveal much of this game but they gave us a great teaser which you can see above. This was the most exciting announcement for me, a new outer space sci-fi franchise is always exciting.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades is beautiful RPG game made for mobile. This will be playable in both portrait and landscape orientation. It will feature a town building mode as well. You’ll explore several dungeons, fight monsters, build your town and also will be able to visit other players town. Bethesda has a very ambitious vision for this game, they stated that in future it will also be available on consoles and VR and will be completely cross-platform. This means that someone playing on iphone can match up with someone playing it in VR or console. Elder Scrolls: Blades is up for pre order and will be available on ios and android.
And for VR lovers, Bethesda also announced Prey and Wolfenstein for VR.
