The world’s most valuable company, Apple’s biggest yearly event is just around the corner. Speculations are rife and excitement in the tech world is soaring high again, just like every year. Let us have a look at the leaks and the rumours and the main things we expect from the event.
Well the main highlight of the event is obviously the phone. The new phone will mostly be named as the “iPhone XS” and will come in 2 variants, a 5.8 inch model and a 6.5 inch model. Also expected is that the phones can be made available in gold colour. Both phones will feature OLED displays on the front. Other details cannot still be confirmed.
A new watch is definitely coming. It will be the Apple Watch Series 4. The watch will come with a bigger display than the previous generation watches. The main highlight is the amazing edge-to-edge display, hence reducing the bezel size to a large extent. In addition to this new watch faces can also be expected. Also, as seen in the image, there is a small hole on the side in between the buttons, probably an additional microphone.
The Software Front
This happens every year and we hope that this year isn’t going to be any different. Apple will most likely release iOS 12, macOS Mojave, tvOS 12 and watchOS 5 after the event. This will be an almost final build that is released just before the final release to the developers and public beta testers so that final bugs filtered out properly.
That are the highlights of what we are looking forward from the main event on September 12. Rumours also suggest that there could be another phone between the 2 iPhone XS’ (maybe an iPhone 9?) but that is a big speculation to make. Also new iPads could be expected(fingers crossed for that). New iMacs are unlikely but Apple can surprise us on the day too.
